Sainik School is a special school that is dedicatedly designed for students who want to serve the nation. The term Sainik is an Indian word that means soldiers. The school is established and managed by the Ministry of Defence and Sainik School Society. To mitigate the problems with religion, caste, class among the officer, they conceived the idea of establishing a school where the students will be prepared for the National Defence Academy and National Naval Academy. Now, there are 25 Sainik Schools across India to train students properly.

The Entrance Exam Details

The Reservation Policy
The reservation policy is maintained in Sainik School quite sincerely. 15% of the available seats are for the Schedule Caste and 7.5% of the seats are reserved for Schedule Tribe. 25% are specially reserved for the retired and serving personnel of defense. The rest of the seats are for general category.
